Hello! My name is Khepra Amen Hetep, and I'm a Hair and Makeup Designer currently based in Winston-Salem, NC. I've spent most of my life moving around the world - but despite how many places I've lived, my one constant throughout those years was my love for cinema, theatre, and creating art. Frequent visits to the movies or plays with my grandmother instilled a love and deep appreciation for hair and makeup design.
I've now had opportunities to design various films and theatre shows at UNCSA. I look forward to building the designs for more films and theatrical performances as well as falling in love with many more characters. I will continue to continue this passion professionally upon receiving my BFA in the Spring of 2025.
